WELCOME to Dr. Ravindra Kumar's Group

Welcome to our group, Our research focuses on using cyclohexadienones as key building blocks for desymmetrisation. We are particularly interested in uncovering their unique reactivity and in designing polycyclic scaffolds that can serve as valuable asset for medicinal chemistry. Alongside this, we are developing new methodologies for the construction of boron-based heterocycles and assessing their biological potential. At present, our investigations extend toward addressing key challenges such as TGR-5 modulation, antimicrobial resistance, and identification of lead-optimized candidates for dengue, with these scaffolds forming the foundation of our approach. we are also interested in asymmetric synthesis from prochiral molecules.
